Uncut Celebrates The Best Of 2007 With An All-Star End Of Year Extravaganza!
Uncut – the UK’s most authoritative music and movie magazine – is rounding off it’s 10th anniversary year with a special all-star end of year extravaganza.
Giving Uncut fans the ultimate Christmas stocking-filler, the January issue is presented in a card envelope and features John Lennon’s 30 greatest songs, as voted for by a host of rock luminaries including Brian Wilson, John Lydon, Liam Gallagher, Yoko Ono, Neil Young, Mick Jagger and Roger Daltrey.
This month’s free Give Peace a Chance CD is dedicated to Lennon, and features 15 tracks of classic protest songs from a range of artists, including iconic UK singer-songwriter Richard Thompson and Led Zeppelin legend Robert Plant.
To complete the package, readers will also recieve two free Uncut books: Best of 2007 – a superb compendium of the indispensable albums, films, DVDs and books of the year; and Snapped! – a glorious collection of great rock photographs and the stories behind them.
Editor Allan Jones says: “Uncut’s last issue of a brilliant year is an unmissable treat for music fans. Lennon on the cover, a fantastic free CD, two great books – and a ton of must-read features and reviews featuring some of the biggest names in rock, including an exclusive on-the-road special with Bruce Springsteen, plus The Arctic Monkeys, Arcade Fire, U2, The Clash, Bob Dylan, Nirvana and David Bowie. As they say, place your order now!”
Associate publisher Gareth Beesley adds: “Uncut is dedicated to offering readers the best of rock music and film. It’s been a fantastic year for the magazine which celebrated its tenth anniversary in style, hosting an exclusive Hold Steady gig at our new offices. What better way to finish off such a significant year than by offering our readers this fantastic must-have package!”
The all star end of year extravaganza issue of Uncut hits the newsstand on November 29, priced £4.30.
