Evergreen International Airlines Selects Pratt & Whitney for PW4056 Maintenance

EAST HARTFORD, Conn.– Pratt & Whitney Global Service Partners (GSP), a United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX) company, and Evergreen International Airlines Inc., a global cargo operator headquartered in McMinnville, Ore., have signed an engine maintenance agreement for twelve Pratt & Whitney PW4056 engines powering three Boeing 747-400 freighters. The agreement is for five years, renewable up to an additional 15 years. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

“Due to the critical nature of our business we were looking for a maintenance partner that would reliably provide a quality maintenance package coupled with an extensive array of support services,” said Brian Bauer, president, Evergreen International Airlines. “We are pleased to have Pratt & Whitney’s original equipment manufacturer expertise, and maintenance, repair and overhaul solutions supporting our fleet.”
