Videos and images can now also be saved digitally

The successful OPMI® pico diagnostic microscope with an integrated video camera from Carl Zeiss Meditec is now optionally available with a digital interface. With the integrated MediLive® Primo Digital Interface video camera, the user can capture and digitally save videos and images. Everything is done quickly and easily on his or her computer – without any additional devices.

Fully integrated into the OPMI® pico microscope, the video camera delivers brilliant, natural images which the ENT doctor or dentist can use for treatment documentation, presentations or convincing patient communication. The system is extremely easy to operate: the save and navigation functions are activated with the footswitch without any need to interrupt the treatment.

“The operation of our new, integrated video camera with a digital interface fits efficiently into the treatment workflow, “ says Margit Krause- Bonte, Director, Office Products Business Sector. “With this innovative solution, we aim to make it easier for dentists and ENT doctors in particular to document treatment outcomes.”
