Embarcadero to Showcase Newly Released Database Tools at Oracle OpenWorld

SAN FRANCISCO – ORACLE OPENWORLD – Nov. 8, 2007 – Embarcadero Technologies will showcase new versions of its market-leading, cross-platform database tools at Oracle OpenWorld, being held next week in San Francisco. Embarcadero, a long-time Oracle partner, will exhibit its products in booth #2210 in Moscone Center South.

Embarcadero will demonstrate the capabilities and benefits of its flagship database tools: ER/Studio, DBArtisan, Rapid SQL and Change Manager. Last week, Embarcadero unveiled DBArtisan 8.5 and Rapid SQL 7.5 that both feature redesigned user interfaces, a new query engine, and deeper support for Oracle, as well SQL Server, DB2 and Sybase. To further boost productivity and quality for Oracle database designers, the company also announced last week the availability of Universal Data Models for ER/Studio. Data model development and maintenance time can be reduced by an average of 60 percent using these models developed by author and modeling expert Len Silverston.
