Bear River Releases Star Receiver Version 5, 16th release of its Internal Package Tracking Software

Bear River is releasing Star Receiver version 5.0, the sixteenth major release of its enterprise-wide package tracking software package to its customers in the next two weeks. Star Receiver is used for a variety of workflows including inbound and outbound packages, accountable interoffice mail, and the tracking of a wide variety of corporate assets (such as files and file boxes, IT equipment, marketing materials, office supplies, etc.). The software product provides enterprise-wide trackability, visibility, and accountability for all materials being tracked. Star Receiver reduces the total amount of labor required for these processes as well as reducing direct and indirect costs for the organization as a whole.

2. Improved user model that reduces time needed for user administration

5. Enhanced configurability of sites and areas (services available, descriptions, etc.)
6. Numerous improvements in user interface capabilities

Star Receiver offers extensive configuration options, making it possible for companies to make the software meet the requirements of their own internal processes. Smaller companies can turn off the advanced capabilities, making Star Receiver very easy to use when the process is correspondingly simple, while larger companies can access the full power of Star Receiver for tracking packages, assets, workflows and more.
