Agilent Technologies Announces Pricing of $600 Million of Senior Notes
Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) today announced the pricing of its senior notes in an aggregate principal amount of $600 million, in an underwritten, registered public offering. The senior notes will mature in November 2017 and will bear interest at an annual rate of 6.50 percent. The offering is expected to close on Oct. 29, 2007, subject to customary closing conditions.
Agilent intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, which may include repurchases of its outstanding shares of common stock, acquisitions, working capital and capital expenditures.
Citi Markets & Banking and J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. acted as joint lead book-running managers for the offering. Banc of America Securities LLC, Credit Suisse, Lehman Brothers and Utendahl Capital Markets L.P. acted as co-managers.
