College Of Engineering Day At The U

The University of Utah will hold College of Engineering Day this Saturday, Oct. 20 for high school students, college students who haven’t decided on a major and transfer students interested in engineering.

The free half-day event is designed to introduce students to a variety of engineering disciplines. Participants will have the opportunity to tour University of Utah engineering facilities, learn about research in the College of Engineering and attend exciting engineering presentations and demonstrations.

Parents, counselors, teachers and alumni are encouraged to attend as well.

News media are invited to cover the half-day event, which begins at 9:30 a.m. in the new Warnock Engineering Building. Participants should arrive between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. to sign up for lab tours.
