MarketLinx Solutions Introduces “TEMPO™ Best Match" MLS System Search Powered by Transparensee Systems’ “Discovery Search Engine™”

MarketLinx Solutions, a division of First American Corporation (NYSE: FAF), announced that it has selected Transparensee Systems’ proprietary “next generation” site search technology to integrate into TEMPO™, MarketLinx’ browser-based MLS system which is currently used by over 300,000 REALTORS®. Marketlinx will be featuring “TEMPO™ Best Match” at the Annual REALTORS® Conference and Expo, which is being held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco on October 28th through October 31st.

Transparensee’s “Discovery Search Engine™ Technology™ will offer users of TEMPO™ a dramatic improvement over existing MLS search technology, allowing them to search for listings quickly and easily without having to enter complex queries. Agents using the system simply enter the criteria for their client’s ideal home (based on an unlimited number of attributes) and the Discovery Search Engine™ automatically finds the best matches. Results are then weighted and ordered by how closely they match all of the homebuyer’s preferences. Agents can then use simple graphic “sliders” to change the relative importance of any of these features for their client and quickly see the new best matches.

Another feature of “TEMPO™ Best Match’” is that when agents search for a property by MLS number or street address, they can also automatically see a display of additional properties which are most similar to the one being searched. This provides real estate agents with the opportunity to show their clients other homes that may interest them, without having to cull through the listings database and compare each property, feature for feature.
