FPL Group announces date for release of third quarter 2007 financial results

FPL Group, Inc. (NYSE: FPL) today announced that it plans to report third quarter 2007 financial results in a press release to be issued before the opening of the New York Stock Exchange on Tuesday, October 30, 2007. In conjunction with the issuance of the press release, Lew Hay, chairman and chief executive officer of FPL Group, Jim Robo, president and chief operating officer of FPL Group, Moray Dewhurst, chief financial officer of FPL Group, and other members of the company’s senior management team will discuss results and the earnings outlook during an investor presentation to be webcast live beginning at 9:00 a.m. ET/8:00 a.m. CT on October 30.
