Alcatel-Lucent 7705 Service Aggregation Router wins IEC InfoVision award

Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext Paris and NYSE: ALU) is proud to announce that its new aggregation router for mobile operators, the Alcatel-Lucent 7705 SAR, has won the IEC InfoVision Award for New Product Concept at the Broadband World Forum Europe. Officially unveiled yesterday during a press conference hosted by Michel Rahier, President of Alcatel-Lucent’s Carrier activity, the Alcatel-Lucent 7705 SAR is available for viewing at Booth #3002.

The International Engineering Consortium’s (IEC) InfoVision Awards honour innovations that help advance the information and communications technologies (ICT) industry. The Alcatel-Lucent 7705 SAR was selected by a panel of industry experts based on criteria spanning overall quality of innovation and contribution to technology advancement, originality and vision, and potential contribution towards positive industry growth.
