Live The Learjet Race
Naming Lewis Hamilton as the new Learjet Ambassador is one of a series of announcements leading to the 45th anniversary, in 2008, of the first flight of a Learjet aircraft. Celebrations to mark this historic Learjet history milestone were kicked-off in June 2007 with the unveiling of a sleek new visual identity for the legendary Learjet brand. Inspired by the famed Learjet winglets, the new Learjet logo reflects both the heritage of this iconic brand while capturing the energy and tempo of Learjet’s exciting future.

Learjet is the first name in corporate aviation. Since acquiring Learjet Inc. in 1990, Bombardier has carried forward the brand’s proud legacy by launching seven high-performance and fuel-efficient aircraft, the most recent being the midsize Learjet 60 XR, incorporating an all new modern flight deck with an advanced cabin electronic system and a stand-up cabin redesigned for style, comfort, and functionality. Its highlights include a wide aisle, generous seated head and shoulder room, LED lighting throughout the cabin, and four executive floor plans. The Learjet 60 XR jet entered customer service in July 2007.
