Increase in prices for CYASORB® UV light stabilizers and CYANOX® antioxidant products to take effect November 1, 2007

Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE: CYT) announced today the implementation of a global price adjustment of 4 to 12 percent on certain CYASORB® UV light stabilizers and CYANOX® antioxidant products. This adjustment, effective November 1, 2007, is being implemented due to sustained pressures from global supplies, logistics and packaging costs.
