Qualcomm Unveils Finalists for Fifth Annual 3G A-List Awards
Global Enterprises, Public Agencies and Nonprofit Organizations Honored for Creative Implementation of Efficient Mobile Broadband Solution.
SAN DIEGO .— Qualcomm Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), a leading developer and innovator of advanced wireless technologies and mobile data solutions, today unveiled its finalists for the 3G A-List™ Awards 2007. Now in its fifth year, the 3G A-List Awards have become the industry’s preeminent recognition program honoring organizations that have implemented innovative and successful enterprise wireless data solutions based on 3G CDMA standards (CDMA2000®/EV-DO and WCDMA/HSPA). From a diverse roster of nominations that included enterprises, public agencies and nonprofit organizations from around the world, 23 finalists were selected based on their significant gains in operational efficiency using 3G CDMA. The 3G A-List Award winners will be announced at a private reception in San Francisco on October 23, during CTIA Wireless I.T. & Entertainment 2007.
Hosted by Qualcomm, the 3G A-List Awards program honors outstanding wireless implementations that demonstrate innovation, creativity, overall positive business impact and how the winning organization exceeded business objectives by introducing higher return on investment, reducing operating expenses or increasing customer satisfaction. This year’s 3G A-List Awards feature new categories that recognize outstanding wireless implementations within numerous vertical markets.
