The Death of the 1up and 2up Scheme!

To those who are making a small fortune in the affiliate marketing industry using 1up or 2up systems, my proclaiming the DEATH of their cash cow must seem blasphemous!

However this is the same thing that happened to the Swiss watchmakers who were accustomed to their monopoly in the watch-making world. When they first saw the quartz watch developed for market by the Japanese they saw nothing to worry about. However the market responds dramatically when something better, cheaper, and longer lasting is offered! Needless to say, the Swiss watchmakers have struggled to regain marketplace in a quartz movement world.

Well the 1up and 2up schemes are flawed and those clinging to what worked before are doomed in the Internet age to be replaced by what works better. There are two major flaws that make the 1up and 2 up systems little more than schemes. I’m not saying you can’t make money with them, simply that it is not sustainable.

The first problem with these schemes is that the average person will join an affiliate marketing program such as “Passport to Wealth,” “Roadmap to Riches,” or “EDC Gold” because they are in a position that they need to get immediate cash flow. Well that is not possible in these schemes. You are forced to give away your commissions to “qualify.” With affiliate marketing it is possible to get immediate cash flow, but not with these systems!

The second, and in my opinion, the flaw that dooms these schemes to extinction has to do with competition. If you join an “affiliate marketing system,” there is always a learning curve. In order to fast track yourself and actually make money, you will need expert advice from someone who understands and has created results within the system your are joining. In a 1up or 2up scheme, your sponsor is strongly discouraged from offering you this mentoring. All they want is for you to sign up and find one or two people. After that you become their adversary competing for marketing dollars.

People who are in a position where they need to get immediate cash flow have an option that is both sustainable and highly effective. It’s not a 1up or 2up scheme.
