Arkema accelerates launch of innovative neutralizing amine into coatings market through partnership with SpecialChem
Arkema is pleased to announce today a new collaboration with SpecialChem on Advantex®, an innovative neutralizing amine for latex paints. Both companies are jointly helping latex paint formulators to better understand the benefits of using Advantex® into their formulation.
“We are very excited to start this collaboration with SpecialChem and join its Coatings & Inks platform” says François Guillemet, Advantex® Business Manager. “This partnership allows Arkema to offer globally immediate and direct technical support to all paint formulators on this new technology. This is a highly efficient tool to find new customers that will be then followed up by our sales force and distributors”
“The collaboration with Arkema on Advantex® provides SpecialChem with yet another opportunity to bring an innovative technology to its fast growing network of 30 000 +coating formulators worldwide....” says Bernard Hasson, SpecialChem Chief Executive Officer.
Advantex® is an easy drop-in additive to replace current amines commonly used in water-based paints. Thanks to its unique chemical structure, this innovative neutralizing amine also acts as a multifunctional additive in latex paint formulation allowing to reduce the dosage of pigment dispersant, to lower odor & VOC or to increase drying flexibility.
