Cheaper shopping is only a click away with mySupermarket.co.uk
The latest entry into the world of online comparison shopping is mySupermarket.co.uk, a free and independent website which compares the prices from the four online supermarkets in the UK - ASDA, Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Ocado.
The new supermarket price comparison site has a straight forward interface which makes shopping with mySupermarket quick and easy. Shoppers start off by checking which supermarket delivers to them and then choosing the supermarket they want to shop at. They then move into the online supermarket itself, moving through the various ‘aisles’ with their virtual trolley.
To make price comparison shopping even easier, mySupermarket.co.uk has a price checker tool which compares the total trolley price with the three other featured supermarkets. At checkout, shoppers are given the choice of swapping items in their trolley for cheaper alternative products at the same supermarket, or changing the entire trolley load at another supermarket, where they can also review cheaper substitutions within the ‘save more’ section. After paying, a time slot for home delivery is chosen and the supermarket deals with the rest.
The company behind the new price comparison website is only owned by a group of private UK investors and mySupermarket employees. Their mission is to make online shopping in the UK a more enjoyable, or “at least more bearable”, experience.
All prices on the online shopping site are updated constantly, thus providing mySupermarket shoppers with all the latest special offers as well as cheapest prices at supermarkets in the UK.
