INTSPEI Sponsors CEE Outsourcing Summit 2007

28 August, 2007 – Kiev – New York - The International Software & Productivity Engineering Institute (INTSPEI) is proud to announce its sponsorship of the Central and Eastern European (CEE) Outsourcing Summit 2007 being held September 12-14 in Kiev, Ukraine. Vladimir L Pavlov, INTSPEI Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer, will make the keynote presentation entitled “Best Practices for Launching and Managing Outsourcing Subsidiaries”.

In making the announcement, Mr. Pavlov says, “We decided to sponsor the ’CEE Outsourcing Summit 2007’ because INTSPEI, as a multinational organization, has its offices in Ukraine, and we are directly involved in supporting the development of the IT industry in Ukraine.” He goes on to say “Outsourcing is a fast growing and promising business sector in CEE. McKinsey estimates that off-shoring activity in Eastern Europe could triple from 2005 to 2008. One of the reasons is that CEE has a strong educational basis: for example in Ukraine there are more than 900 educational institutions and they teach almost 2.7 million students – among them there are 670 thousand technical students”.

This event is a meeting place for more than 200 experts in outsourcing, research company analysts, leading Eastern-European outsourcing companies, along with companies from the US and Western Europe seeking service suppliers in CEE.
