Woolovers sell their millionth sweater. Christmas 2004

Woolovers, the independent family business supplying woollen knitwear for over 15 years has now sold over 1 million sweaters and cardigans.

The Owner of Woolovers Mark Shenton is living his dream “My wife and I started in this market purely by chance, the core of our business used to concern selling at trade shows, we still do this and love the chance it gives us to meet our customers face to face and our range of clothing is very much a creation of this feed back, but our website (www.woolovers.com) has enabled us to sell at a rate of numbers never possible before, and to a world market”.

“In association with the British Wool Board, we select most of our yarns from UK flocks, which means that purchases from our company are an important link in supporting the British rural economy. Today there is a greater environmental need to use natural renewable products and wool fulfils this need whilst also providing warm, stylish and durable clothing. It makes me proud to think that people all over the world are now wearing British wool garments purchased from the Woolovers website”.
