GM’s IGotShotgun video entertainment channel produces four-part video series profiling metro Detroit’s historic Vinsetta Garage


Video series part of GM’s 2007 Woodward Dream Cruise coverage; all cruise coverage to be posted at and on IGotShotgun’s YouTube channel

Detroit - General Motors is helping to fuel Dream Cruise fever with the production of a four-part video series profiling the Vinsetta Garage, which is located on Woodward Avenue in Berkley, Mich., and which has been a fixture on the Detroit automotive scene since 1919. Shot documentary-style, the video series introduces viewers to Vinsettta Garage owner, Jack Marwil, his staff and the inner workings of this Detroit-area landmark.

Videos include glimpses into a typical day at the garage and the preparation of vehicles for the 2007 Woodward Dream Cruise. The videos showcase some of Marwil’s favorite restoration projects and the work involved in restoring a classic car. Operating on a referral-only basis, the Vinsetta Garage is one of the tried and true fixtures on the otherwise ever-changing Woodward Avenue.
