ROCHESTER, N.Y.- Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) and four of its customers were awarded 14 “Gold Ink” Awards, recognizing excellence in digital printing technology for the commercial print and graphic arts environments.

The winning entries - posters, books, greeting cards, manuals and catalogs - were produced on the Xerox iGen3™ Digital Production Press, the DocuColor™ 5000 Digital Press and the Xerox Nuvera™ System and were judged superior based on print quality, technical difficulty and overall visual impact.

In their 20th year, the Gold Ink Awards, are sponsored by Printing Impressions and Publishing Executive magazines. Judged by an independent panel of graphic artists, production managers and print buyers, the awards have earned the reputation for attracting the highest quality of work from printing professionals. Xerox’s 14 winning entries, selected from nearly 1,500 entrants within 48 categories, showcase how Xerox’s industry-leading portfolio, from mid-production and production color printing presses to high-volume black-and-white systems, delivers quality and flexibility for a variety of digital print jobs.

Tucker Printers, a Consolidated Graphics Company in Rochester, received top honors with a gold award in the Direct Mail Packages - Variable Data category for its “Vespa Direct Mail Piece,” printed on the iGen3 press. Tucker has won the top award in this category for the past three years.

“Over the years, the applications we have produced on the Xerox iGen3 have repeatedly been recognized as award-winning pieces,” said Craig Reynolds, president, Tucker Printers. “It truly is a testament to the capabilities and high-quality output of the press. Our customers have come to expect this degree of quality, and we are confident that with our iGen3 press and Xerox applications we can deliver it.”
