Elizabeth Weymouth Joins Riverstone Holdings as a Managing Director

New York - Riverstone Holdings LLC, a $9 billion private investment firm specializing exclusively in the energy and power sectors, today announced that Elizabeth K. Weymouth has joined the firm as a Managing Director. A veteran of the private banking industry, Ms. Weymouth will oversee Riverstone’s investor relations and communications functions and lead the firm’s fundraising efforts. She will also participate on the firm’s Investment Committee and in the oversight of certain portfolio companies.

Ms. Weymouth, 39, joins Riverstone from JPMorgan Private Bank, where she most recently served as Managing Director and Head of Investment Business in the U.S. Northeast, the Private Bank’s largest region in terms of revenues and assets under management. In that role, she was responsible for overseeing $83 billion in client assets and 70 investment professionals focused exclusively on serving ultra high net worth private clients. Ms. Weymouth joined JPMorgan in 1994. Earlier in her career she negotiated underwriting agreements for major energy companies.

At JPMorgan, Ms. Weymouth served on JPMorgan Private Bank’s U.S. Operating Committee, Global Investment Leadership Team, Investment Review Committee, and Fiduciary Oversight Committee. Additionally, she served on the firm’s Senior Women’s Leadership Forum and Mentoring Committee.

Prior to joining JPMorgan in 1994, Ms. Weymouth worked in London from 1989 to 1992 for Willis Corroon, PLC as an Associate in the Oil and Gas Division. She was responsible for negotiating insurance coverage for Fortune 50 energy companies with underwriters in Lloyd’s of London as well as other insurance companies in the London market.

Ms. Weymouth received a B.A. from the University of Virginia in 1989 and received an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business in 1994. She serves on the Darden Corporate Advisory Board and this year was elected to the Board of Trustees of the Darden School Foundation.
