Studsvik acquires UK-based nuclear engineering design company Alpha Engineering


2007-08-06 08:40, Studsvik has entered into an agreement to acquire all shares in UK based nuclear engineering company Alpha Engineering. The company has a staff of 30 and annual sales of GBP 1.5 million in 2006. The company will contribute to the Studsvik Group earnings as of August, 2007.
The acquisition adds a series of specialised nuclear ventilation and building services to the Studsvik offering. Alpha Engineering has been a fast growing business since its founding seven years ago. It is now recognized as the market leader in itís niche areas, with 30 highly specialized and security cleared personnel.
