August 6th – Advanstar Communications, publisher of Applied Clinical Trials magazine, has announced the programme for the 14th annual Applied Clinical Trials European Summit & Networking Forum 2007. The programme, developed by a select Advisory Board of experienced practitioners, includes a broad spectrum of topics delivered through a series of seminars, plenary sessions and interactive workshops.

Taking place at the Sofitel Berlin Schweizerhof, Germany, the Summit will open on Monday 29 October with a full day of pre-conference seminars running across two tracks. The first will explore the latest developments in electronic data capture, whilst the second will examine the survival of clinical research in Germany in the post-takeover, post-merger era.

Topics to be covered include innovations in clinical trial design, overcoming the challenges of patient recruitment and public perception, recent developments in the regulatory environment for clinical trials and best practice for ensuring the safety of studies.
