Ametek Introduces Chatillono DFX Series Digital Force Gauge

LARGO, FLORIDA - The CHATILLON DFX Series, the new digital force gauge from AMETEK Measurement & Calibration Technologies, is designed especially for plant production personnel to measure peak tension and compression forces.

The DFX Series features selectable display languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese or Chinese, and is available in four capacities. It operates using two 9Vdc alkaline batteries or a battery eliminator that is supplied with plugs for USA, UK or EU source power outlets. Accuracy is better than 0.5% of full scale

A large high-resolution LCD display, combined with a keypad with only four operating keys, further contributes to the DFX Series’ ease of use,” notes Brown..

The DFX Series is available in four capacities: 10 lbf, 50 lbf, 100 lbf and 200 lbf. Users may select and “lock” their desired unit of measure from ozf, gf, lbf, kgf or N. An automatic power-save feature is designed to preserve battery life, while two 9Vdc alkaline batteries provide users with over 100 hours of continuous use.

“When combined with our CHATILLON LTCM Series tester, the DFX Series offers customers an economical method for testing products and materials,” adds Brown.
