Dr. Xin-Xing Tan Wins an Award from the American Society for Microbiology

(CYGX.OB) announced today that Dr. Xin-Xing Tan will receive an award presented by the Program Committee of the 47th Annual Interscience Conference on Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy (ICAAC) organized by the American Society of Microbiology (ASM) at the upcoming ICAAC annual meeting. This monetary award acknowledges the quality and level of innovation demonstrated in the work entitled Novel DNA Aptamers against Staphylococcus aureus Identified by Whole-Bacterium SELEX. Dr. Tan’s paper will be presented in the section on Therapy and Prevention of Microbial Diseases at the ICAAC meeting September 17-20, 2007 in Chicago, Illinois.
