Deutsche Telekom concludes sale of ya.com to France Telecom

As the Spanish anti-trust authorities have not filed an objection to the sale of Deutsche Telekom’s Spanish Internet business to France Télécom España S.A., the transaction has today been concluded by both companies. The former Deutsche Telekom AG subsidiary operates as an Internet provider in Spain under the brand name ya.com. The sale is part of the “focus, fix and grow” strategy presented to the public by the CEO of Deutsche Telekom on March 1, 2007.
