Geek Squad Founder, Robert Stephens, To Keynote EHX Fall 2007

The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)® announced today that Robert Stephens, Founder of Geek Squad, will deliver the Electronic House Expo (EHX) Fall 2007 keynote address at 9:00 am on Wednesday, November 7 at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, CA. Stephens will focus on the unique, inexpensive and diversified marketing practices used to propel his company to success. Insight into how the emergence of media center systems will affect the custom installation industry will also be a major focus.

Geek Squad, a 24-hour computer support task force specializing in technology support at home, was founded in 1994 and acquired by Best Buy in 2002. Stephens, recognized for his development of unique and successful brand development, implemented the principles of “experience marketing” by Joseph Pine and James Gilmore to create his thriving company.

EHX keynote attendees will be led through the evolution of Geek Squad as Stephens candidly advises integrators toward leveraging marketing to achieve success. He will also discuss how the implementation of media center system sales and support can provide highly profitable opportunities for today’s installers.
