DEG Elects New Line Home Entertainment President Stephen Einhorn as New President

LOS ANGELES – The Digital Entertainment Group (DEG) has elected New Line Home Entertainment chief Stephen Einhorn as its new President. Einhorn, the DEG’s fifth president, is a founding board member of the DEG and has been a member of the Executive Committee for five years.

“We are delighted with the election of Steve Einhorn as President, who is a respected leader and highly regarded throughout the industry. As a founding board member of the DEG, Steve has been instrumental in guiding the organization,” said Amy Jo Smith, Executive Director, DEG.

The DEG is a Los Angeles-based, industry-funded, nonprofit corporation that advocates and promotes the many benefits associated with DVD and other forms of digital entertainment while providing updated information regarding the format to both the media and the retail trade. The DEG offers a forum for member companies to engage in ongoing discussions concerning various issues and opportunities, which relate to other new digital technologies that may emerge in the future.
