The Search is on for an International Elite Black Queen™

Chicago, Illinois, July 24, 2007 – The International Elite Black Pageant System was developed to celebrate the unique beauty and talents of women in black communities across the world. We offer all participants an opportunity to showcase their beauty and talents, but also a chance to build and grow. International Elite Black Pageant titleholders embody the standards that all Black women hope to attain. She’s smart, articulate, in shape, talented, and stylish….she’s the total package.
Contestants from all over the world ages 13 to 63 will converge to compete for a host of prizes and the opportunity to be an International role model for women of color, but take the time to celebrate and uplift their unique cultural heritages.
This pageant system represents all women of the Black Diaspora. We have competition categories for the youngest to older women, single, and married, mother & daughters. This pageant system celebrates the various levels of maturity and development, along with the cultural uniqueness of the feminine side of Black Communities across the world. The term “Black Community” encompasses a global group larger than just African Americans. Blacks are a diverse group of individuals who come from a multitude of cultural backgrounds, heritages, and countries. These include (but are not limited to): African, African-American, Bahamian, Canadian, Caribbean, Cayman, Haitian, Jamaican, Nigerian, Sudanese, Barbadian, and Trinidadian.
Each contestant will compete in the following areas of competition: Personal Interview, Personal Expression/Talent, Evening Gown and Athletic Wear/Swimwear. The 2007 prize package is valued at over $5000 for each of the winners. Prizes will also be distributed for community service, academic achievement, photogenic, and people’s choice.
The five day event October 4-8, 2007 is being filmed on location in Detroit, Michigan, USA. During the there stay contestants will tour historic places such as Motown, stops along the Underground Railroad, and much more.
The International Elite Black Pageant Weekend is an exciting event that will provide an opportunity for talented and intelligent Black women to showcase their talents, pursue their dreams, and achieve their goals. Our pageants feature empowered, strong, talented, and positive Black women, teens, and young girls, and reward them for their natural beauty and abilities. Applications are still being accepted.
