Silicon Image Announces Americas Distribution Agreement With Nu Horizons Electronics

(NASDAQ: SIMG), a leader in semiconductors for the secure storage, distribution and presentation of high-definition content, today announced an Americas distribution agreement with Nu Horizons Electronics Corp. (NASDAQ: NUHC), a leading global distributor of advanced technology semiconductor, display, illumination and system solutions. Through this agreement, Nu Horizons will distribute VastLane™ High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) and Digital Video Interface processors, PinnaClear integrated video processors and SteelVine storage processors. The new relationship also provides Silicon Image with access to Nu Horizons’ established global distribution channel.
