EPA awards over $90,000 to the Osage Nation for its Underground Injection Control program

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency recently awarded $94,705 to the Osage Nation for its Underground Injection Control (UIC) program. The tribe will use the funds to conduct well testing and inspecting, enforcement and compliance, and permitting of injection wells. This is the final installment for fiscal year 2007; a total of $218,800 has been awarded to the Osage Nation UIC program in this fiscal year.
