Burberry launches Autumn/Winter 2007 Advertising Campaign
The Burberry AW ‘07 ad campaign will launch in key publications worldwide in August issues. The campaign is created in signature Black and White colours and has a typically extensive British cast. The images of the campaign were shot by Mario Testino in London, on a set inspired by an English townhouse and with a strong synergy between music and fashion.
The newest addition to the Burberry Icons Collection the studded ‘Knight bag’ is worn by Agyness Deyn, whose striking looks have appeared previously in Burberry campaigns. Agyness also stars regularly in the Burberry Prorsum runway shows
The key ready-to-wear pieces for this campaign are shoes, outerwear and dresses.
The cast of the campaign consists of the Manchester-born model Agyness, who is aged 21 and part of the Burberry Family. She features currently on multiple magazine covers worldwide. Also present is Lily Donaldson, the 20 year old British model, who was pictured alongside Agyness as one of the World’s next top models on the cover of American Vogue in May 2007.
In addition there is Kiera Gormley and Georgia Frost, who have both appeared in previous Burberry campaigns, and Burberry Prorsum shows. And finally, Morwenna Lytton Cobbold, model and daughter of Henry Lytton Cobbold, who is the owner of English stately home Knebwoth House, a major venue for rock concerts.
Finnian Smith and Rob Hughes, both leading British male models, are also featured.
In addition, the campaign features today’s young talented British musicians, including Patrick Wolf; Tom Atkin, the lead singer of The Paddingtons; singer-songwriter Edward Larrikin from the band Larrikin Love; band manager Jonny Epstein; and finally Keiran Webster and Peter Reilly, both members of Scottish band The View.
