New Chairman of INGKA Holding B.V. Supervisory Board

Göran Grosskopf has been appointed new chairman of the Supervisory Board of INGKA Holding B.V. as per September 1, 2007.Göran Grosskopf succeeds Hans-Göran Stennert, chairman since 1998 and a member of the board since 1993.

Born in Borås, Sweden, in 1945, Göran Grosskopf was the chairman of the board of Tetra Laval 1993-2003. Currently he is a board member of several Swedish companies, among them PEAB, Bergendahls and Ratos. He has been a professor in law at the universities of Umeå, Lund and Gothenburg. During 1994-2003, Göran was a member of the Russian prime minister’s Foreign Investment Advisory Council.

Hans-Göran Stennert will continue his engagement within the IKEA Group, supporting Group President Anders Dahlvig in matters concerning IKEA’s expansion in Asia. He will be a member of the boards of IKEA China and Japan, two of IKEA’s most important future markets.
