Copaiba Oil

Newark DE, July 2, 2007. A new Copaiba oil health supplement has been introduced by Amazon Botanicals LLC.

Copaiba oil is the resin from the Amazonian tree, Copaifera officinalis. Copaiba oil is used throughout the Amazon basin as a medicinal herbal product either topically or internally. Copaiba oil is used as an antimicrobial agent for internal and external bacterial infections, skin and stomach ulcers and to heal wounds. Copaiba oil is used topically to cure herpes sores and Copaiba oil is also used for dermatitis, psoriasis and other dry skin conditions. For skin cancer and nail fungus Copaiba oil is applied directly to the affected area. Copaiba oil is used as a gargle for tonsillitis and sore throats. Copaiba oil is considered a staple medicinal plant in Peru with many different uses.

When taken internally Copaiba oil is taken in very small doses - 1/2 to 1 ml, up to three times a day.
