Municipality of North Cowichan Selects Orion’s OnPoint™ Solution

Orion Technology Inc. is pleased to announce that the Municipality of North Cowichan has chosen to implement Orion’s OnPoint™ solution to enhance their web-GIS environment. North Cowichan joins the Regional Districts of Nanaimo and Comox-Strathcona as OnPoint clients on Vancouver Island.

Located between Victoria and Nanaimo, the Municipality of North Cowichan is located amidst magnificent scenery and boasts a robust economy, an easily accessible transportation network, excellent educational resources and health services, and a large land base. Covering over 20,000 hectares of land, North Cowichan is home to over 27,000 people and is experiencing significant population growth. OnPoint will be used as a centralized spatial and non-spatial data portal for various departments within the Municipality.
