NCR and The Kennedy Group to Collaborate In Marketing of NCR AIDC Software Solutions

WILLOUGHBY, Ohio, and ATLANTA – NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR) and The Kennedy Group announced they have completed a reseller agreement naming The Kennedy Group as a member of the NCR RealPartner program. The companies will jointly market NCR’s automatic identification and data collection (AIDC) software to The Kennedy Group’s customers in the consumer goods manufacturing and other markets throughout the United States.

NCR’s AIDC Solutions Group provides a suite of packaged applications that organize and communicate data collected through RFID, bar-code, biometrics, voice and other AIDC technologies. The NCR AIDC software suite currently includes Asset Visibility, Inventory Visibility and Retail RFID Compliance.

Headquartered in Willoughby, Ohio, The Kennedy Group provides turnkey RFID solutions that are compatible with EPCglobal standards and are fully integrated with their customers’ existing systems.

In an unrelated transaction, The Kennedy Group announced earlier this month that it has acquired the assets of the RFID labeling business from NCR Systemedia, a separate division of NCR.
