Intrinsyc Software Appoints General Counsel

Intrinsyc Software International, Inc. (TSX: ICS), a mobile device software and services company, today announced the appointment of Mark J. Longo to the roles of Vice President of Corporate Development, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary. Mr. Longo will be responsible for the legal and corporate governance affairs of Intrinsyc, including investor relations and corporate development activities. Mr. Longo will report to Glenda Dorchak, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Intrinsyc Software.

Mr. Longo joins Intrinsyc with nearly 15 years of experience in corporate governance, corporate/securities law, technology law, investor relations and corporate development. He has contributed to the development and successful execution of strategies and business plans for growth-oriented, publicly-traded, and private technology companies.

Since 2001 Mr. Longo has been Vice President of Business Development, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary for Datawire Communication Networks Inc. where he was lead counsel and a member of the negotiation team in the 2007 sale of Datawire to First Data Corporation (NYSE: FDC). During his time at Datawire, Mr. Longo managed the international market entry strategy, multiple equity and debt financings, the establishment of U.S. headquarters and all legal affairs of the company. Mr. Longo has also held General Counsel and various executive positions at Star Data Systems Inc. (a TSX-listed company that was acquired by CGI Group Inc. (TSX: GIB.A) in 2001) and Baycom Inc. Mr. Longo earned his undergraduate degree from McGill University in Montréal, Québec and a law degree from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. He also holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario.
