Going Where the Growth is: DTT License Agreement in Bulgaria

DuPont Titanium Technologies (DTT) and Megachim, a Bulgarian paints and coatings company, recently announced a 5-year partnership to launch a paint portfolio of architectural coatings that will be marketed under the DuPont™ Teflon® brand. Plamen Velikov, owner and managing director, Megachim, and Rick Olson, vice president and general manager, DuPont Titanium Technologies, signed a trademark license agreement.




The alliance will make DuPont the principal supplier of titanium dioxide for the next five years, resulting in more than USD 1 million in new revenue. Megachim will receive technical and marketing support in the development of high quality paint products using new Teflon® surface protector additve technologies.
