IBM Named Market Share Leader in Storage Services

IBM (NYSE: IBM) today announced that leading industry analyst firm Gartner, Inc. has positioned IBM as the market share leader in its Dataquest Insight evaluation of major Storage Services vendors just released this month.*

The June 2007 report “Dataquest Insight: Storage Services Market Leaders, 2006: Tight Race for Second Place” examined nine storage services companies and determined IBM as the leader with 21.1 percent market share, with the nearest competitor having a 7.7 percent share.
