CA Simplifies IT Administration with New Single Sign-On Application Wizard

Unique Combination of Wizard and Tcl Scripting Enables Customers to
Address Full Range of Enterprise IAM Requirements

ISLANDIA, N.Y.– CA, Inc. (NYSE: CA) today announced the availability of a new Application Wizard for CA Single Sign-On (SSO), a key component of its popular Identity & Access Management (IAM) solution. The Application Wizard makes it even easier for IT administrators to automate single sign-on so that end users can quickly take advantage of fast, convenient access to their applications.

Single sign-on saves time, improves security and reduces help-desk calls by providing access to multiple applications through a single authentication. The Application Wizard complements the existing Tcl scripting language in CA Single Sign-On, which empowers IT administrators to SSO-enable applications with even the most complex, multi-stage logins. This combination of wizard- and script-based SSO-enablement makes CA’s IAM solution uniquely suitable for implementing single sign-on in today’s highly diverse enterprise environments.

The Missouri Department of Conservation, a state agency responsible for protecting Missouri’s fish, forest and wildlife resources, implemented single sign-on to improve application access for its local and remote staff. By using CA Single Sign-On, the agency has been able to quickly automate single sign-on for applications with distinct login processes, including time reporting, human resources and accounting across multiple platforms and environments.
