Alcatel-Lucent introduces the world’s first comprehensive Service Routing Certification Program to educate the next generation of IP networking professionals

Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext Paris and NYSE: ALU)today announced a unique, industry-first Service Routing Certification (SRC) program designed to provide IP professionals with the most advanced end-to-end knowledge transfer and skills development opportunities available today. The program is designed to equip Alcatel-Lucent customers and partners with the skills, confidence, and experience required to optimize leading-edge, high-performance standards-based IP networks and to realize their company’s business goals.

The response from Alcatel-Lucent customers to the new program has been immediate and positive, especially as the certification is elevated to a service and architecture level.

The three certifications available immediately are:

Alcatel-Lucent Network Routing Specialists (NRS)

Alcatel-Lucent Triple Play Routing Specialists (3RP)

Alcatel-Lucent Service Routing Architect (SRA)

Each certification consists of courses that include an intensive combination of hands-on lab activity and coursework. Exams are available to test the knowledge requirements associated with each certification. Each course is led by an Alcatel-Lucent certified expert who is directly involved with development of the service routing products.
