Air Products Polymers today announced a temporary surcharge of €35/ton for all of its dispersions sold in Europe effective 1st July 2007, until further notice. 18th June 2007 – This temporary surcharge is required since raw materials suppliers have had to limit the quantity of product sold to their customers, including Air Products Polymers, following recent force majeure events. Suppliers of VAM and PVOH have also announced significant price increases.

“We will do everything possible to limit the effects of these raw material delivery restriction and prices increases and will keep customers fully informed of developments,” said Feike van der Heide, general manager, Air Products Polymers, Europe.
