GLAMOUR IN THE SLAMMER CONTINUES AT
THE FREMONT STREET EXPERIENCE

LAS VEGAS, NV - More than 30,000 fans and supporters have visited famed Las Vegas comic Joe “TV Guy” Trammel as he continues to serve his 23-day sentence in a 10x4x7 cell located at the Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas. The stunt began June 4th in conjunction with Paris Hilton’s incarceration and will continue uninterrupted through June 26th – no early release for “undisclosed mental and physical ailments”, no home confinement, no time off for good behavior. Locked in his pink cell under constant surveillance by onlookers, a security guard, and his agent; the “TV Guy” brings his trademark twist to a serious cause – the fight to STOP DUI.

Celebrity well-wishers, Las Vegas locals, and curious tourists have all visited Joe and delivered messages of support by signing a 30-foot onsite banner and leaving notes at www.myspace.com/glamourintheslammer.

“No cell phone, no makeup, no hair extensions; this has been harder than I could have ever imagined,” said Trammel. “I have been inspired and enlightened by the wonderful support I have received as we fight to re-focus the attention on the real reason why both Paris and I are behind bars – the serious issue that is drunk driving”.

Glamour in the Slammer is located on the 3rd Street Stage at the Fremont Street Experience in Downtown Las Vegas, and is sponsored in part by Fitzgeralds Casino and Rockstar Energy Drink. The event’s official charity is STOP DUI, a Nevada grassroots non-profit organization dedicated to stopping the violent crime of driving under the influence and assisting the innocent victims of this crime.
