$504 per Carat at Sierra Leone Diamond’s Third Sale

Sierra Leone Diamond has held its third sale of diamonds sourced from the Kono alluvial mine in Sierra Leone. The company announced that it had sold 7,965.54 carats for a total sum of $4.02 million, constituting $504 per carat.
In the company’s previous sale, which took place in April, 10,105.91 carats of rough were sold at an average price of $440.96 per carat – total revenue came to $4,456,288.
