TAMPA, Fla.- Global Imaging Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX), and Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America today announced a new purchasing contract that enables Global dealers to continue supplying customers with Sharp multifunction products, printers, fax machines, supplies, parts and accessories through March 2008.

The contract enables Global Imaging’s existing Sharp dealers - Dahill Industries, San Antonio, Texas; Lewan & Associates Inc., Denver; Imaging Concepts of New Mexico, Albuquerque; MWB Business Systems, Los Angeles; Berney’s Office Solutions, Montgomery, Ala.; Pinnell Inc., Yakima, Wash.; El Paso Triad, El Paso, Texas; and TML Enterprises Inc., Manassas, Va. - to continue selling and servicing Sharp products.

“Global’s success in the marketplace has always been based on partnerships, building strong relationships with companies like Sharp and with our customers,” said Tom Johnson, chairman and CEO of Global Imaging Systems. “This renewed relationship with Sharp helps Global companies to continue meeting their customers’ needs with the right mix of technology, supplies and service.”

“Our relationships with the Global dealers have been built on a mutual respect and cooperation to build our businesses,” said Ed McLaughlin, president of Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA). “We feel our ongoing relationship will continue to build on these strengths and allow both companies to continue to grow and provide leading edge technology and support to customers.”

“Both Global and Sharp have built our reputations on a common focus on ensuring that we exceed the customers expectations,” stated Richard Boomsma, vice president of sales for SIICA. “Our continued relationship with Global ensures that we both can maintain this high level of satisfaction and support to our mutual customers.”

Global Imaging Systems focuses on small and mid-size businesses through 21 regional core companies in the U.S. that sell and service document management systems such as printers, copiers and multifunction devices; network integration services; and electronic presentation systems.
