Houston Weight Loss and Weight Reduction News: New Non-Invasive Technology that Rivals Liposuction Has Arrived

HOUSTON,TX, June 6, 2007 – Houston weight loss and weight reduction enthusiasts now have new technology to fight fat and cellulite. It’s called Accent XL.

Manufactured by Alma Lasers, Accent XL is the latest iteration of the Accent machine, “and is more efficient and more comfortable than the original,” says Chris Bailey. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved Accent XL for use last month. “We’ve been on pins and needles waiting for FDA approval,” says Bailey. “We’ve been waiting for months to order our machine. When approval came down, it took the manufacturer in Israel only a few weeks to fabricate and ship it.”

Accent XL is a hand-held device that uses radiofrequency to reduce cellulite and fat deposits, and contour and tighten skin. It works in multiple ways. First, it heats under the skin causing the fat cells to shrink. "It also stimulates collagen production,” says Karen Bailey, “which, in turn, makes the area look smoother and firmer.”

The Baileys say they will begin administering Accent weight loss and weight reduction treatments at Skinovative on June 22nd. “There’s so much interest in Accent XL because you get results,” says Karen Bailey.

“For most people, the decrease in fat deposits and dimpling is significant, even dramatic,”she says. Accent XL therapy sessions are usually conducted two weeks apart. Six to ten sessions are typical and are priced at several hundred dollars apiece or less if purchased in a package.
