DuPont Refrigerants, part of the DuPont Fluoroproducts business, recently participated in the 14th Heat, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR) Conference with the Pakistani chapter of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
Neil Roberts, technical market development manager, DuPont Refrigerants, Europe, Middle East & Africa, presented a study investigating the performance and oil return properties of several zero-ozone depletion potential blends. He also provided guidance on the planned phase-out of chlorofluorocarbons and hydrochlorofluorocarbons. Neil highlighted easy-to-use and cost-effective alternatives, including DuPont™ Suva® and DuPont™ ISCEON® 9 series refrigerants.
