Visteon to share expertise at upcoming industry forums

Visteon Corporation (NYSE: VC) will share its automotive expertise at two upcoming industry forums: The 2007 Auto Interiors Show, June 6-7 in Detroit and the ITS America’s 2007 Annual Meeting & Exposition, June 4–6, 2007 at the Palm Springs Convention Center in Palm Springs, Calif.

Auto Interiors Show June 6-7 in Detroit
Visteon brings connectivity, consumer appeal and an element of luxuriousness to vehicle interiors around the globe. On June 6 and 7, journalists can hear Visteon interiors experts share their insights as panelists at the interiors show at Cobo Center in Detroit.

The Auto Interiors Show is considered the industry’s definitive conference and exposition focused on the technology and design of vehicle interiors. The panels on which Visteon will participate include:

* Incoming Entertainment – Visteon is creating savvy vehicle interiors for automakers and drivers by collaborating with respected consumer electronics suppliers such as Nintendo, Boston Acoustics and iBiquity. Hear Ryan Williams, project manager for Visteon’s North America innovation, describe new product concepts and marketing strategies designed to elevate in-vehicle entertainment to new levels.

* Differing Audio Strategies: Two Paths to Dynamic Sound – Visteon’s associate director of business development for Visteon, David Chi, will explain how theater-quality surround sound was taken into the automotive realm. He will discuss the differences between stereo and three-dimensional sound, and the challenges Visteon has overcome to create a pristine sound experience in the vehicles it supplies.

ITS America’s 2007 Annual Meeting & Exposition
At the 2007 ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) expo, Tim Tiernan will lend his expertise as senior manager of Visteon driver awareness to discuss how Visteon technologies, such as blind spot detection and forward collision warning, play an important role in the Integrated Vehicle-Based Safety System (IVBSS) Program – a new U.S. DOT vehicle safety initiative to build and field test integrated crash warning systems designed to reduce rear-end, lane change and roadway departure collisions on light vehicles and heavy commercial trucks.

The discussion will be on Wednesday, June 6, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in the CC-Smoketree A/B location. The conference is June 4–6, 2007 at the Palm Springs Convention Center in Palm Springs, Calif.
