Allstate recently inducted eight new members into the Allstate Financial Hall of Fame, the highest honor of distinction for Allstate’s exclusive agents and financial professionals. The Allstate Financial Hall of Fame is a highly selective achievement that honors exceptional commitment to helping customers plan for their insurance and financial needs and retirement savings goals.

“Allstate prides itself on its commitment to helping customers protect their assets while preparing for their future,” said Steve Sorenson, senior vice president, Distribution, Allstate. “These individuals were selected for this honor because they have gone above and beyond in helping customers meet their retirement and savings goals. This year, Allstate is celebrating 50 years of making a difference in the life insurance business, a remarkable milestone made possible by individuals such as this year’s inductees.”

An elite circle, less than 1 percent of Allstate’s approximately 14,800 agents and financial professionals have received this award. To gain admission into the Allstate Financial Hall of Fame, agents must earn the Allstate Financial Leader Award 20 or more times or earn the same award 10 times, in addition to winning one of the Allstate Financial Best in Company awards at least once. Financial professionals can enter the Hall of Fame by achieving the Financial Leader Forum 10 or more times.

Allstate’s 2007 Hall of Fame inductees include:
Ignacio Borbolla, an exclusive agent from Coral Gables, Fla.;
Stanley Burns, a personal financial representative from Kissimmee, Fla.;
Dale Huffman, an exclusive agent from Orange, Calif;
Carlos Lagomarsino, an exclusive agent from Wilmington, N.C.;
John Leland, an exclusive agent from San Bruno, Calif.;
Kent McGill, a personal financial representative from The Woodlands, Texas
Randy Navarro, an exclusive agent from Whittier, Calif.;
Tom Young, an exclusive agent from Aiken, S.C.;

All new inductees have a bronze plaque permanently displayed in the Allstate Financial Hall of Fame, located at The Allstate Corporation’s Home Office in Northbrook, Ill. In addition, this year’s inductees were honored at the Allstate Leaders Forum held in San Diego in April 2007, and received a duplicate bronze plaque, signature Allstate Hall of Fame black blazer and Rolex watch. The Allstate Leaders Forum is a business event where sales professionals can exchange ideas, experiences, and opinions with their peers and top Allstate leaders.
