Alcatel-Lucent and Sabia Bioingeniería develop joint health care solution
Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext Paris and NYSE: ALU) and application partner Sabia-Bioingeniería, headquartered in Zaragoza, Spain, have announced the successful completion of a jointly developed solution to advance care. The new solution combines medical care systems with Alcatel-Lucent’s communication systems for use in senior care facilities.
The patient warning solution, offered on both the Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Enterprise and OmniPCX Office platforms, is for designed for use in senior resorts and hospitals, enabling better communication between patients and care staff via both fixed and mobile phones. Patients, families and care givers benefit from the combination of the warning service plus all other advanced features of the Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX platforms, while designated facilities differentiate themselves by delivering the maximum care possible for residents. Additionally, the solution addresses compliance issues, with alarm monitoring and reporting capabilities designed to manage and improve quality of care.
